Sheppard Mullin provides tax companion Soyun Park in New York

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE) – Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP are pleased to announce that Soyun Park, as a partner in the New York office, has joined the company’s energy, infrastructure and project finance team and the Taxes, Employee Benefits and Trusts and Inheritance Practice. Park comes from Winston & Strawn. She is Sheppard Mullin’s 14th partner in 2020.

Park focuses her practice on international tax planning and transactional issues. She advises domestic and multinational clients in the context of their structural and transactional tax planning, including advising on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, financing, divestments, restructurings, joint ventures, financial products, securities offerings and other important transactions. At Sheppard Mullin, Soyun will focus efforts on renewable energy transactions, international tax planning and expanding the company’s Korean practice. Park earned her BS from Columbia University, her JD from Georgetown University Law Center, and her LL.M. from New York University School of Law.
