The governor of Alabama signed a law on May 14th allowing volunteer rescue vehicles to be used for property and excise purposes. The law contains measures: 1) Exemption from ad valorem taxes as well as license and registration fees for motor vehicles and commercial vehicles by voluntary rescue workers who are registered under state law and are used exclusively as first aid vehicles without profit, unless they are rented out or are leased or loaned to a private person, company or company with effect from January 1, 2022; and 2) declare that aircraft, airships, and other aircraft listed in the Code of Alabama 1975 will be graded and graded on October 1, 2022 …
