Notice of the collection of taxes

PLEASE NOTE that the tax schedule and warrant for the fiscal year beginning June 1, 2021 and ending May 31, 2022 have been submitted to the village clerk’s office. Taxes are payable in person at Village Hall, 50 Superior Road, Bellerose Village, NY 11001, Monday through Friday, 9:15 am to 4:15 pm
2021 VILLAGE TAX IS DUE ON JUNE 1, 2021 AND PAYABLE WITHOUT PENALTY
UNTIL JULY 1, 2021 LATER THAN 4:15 p.m. Taxes can be paid in person at the parish hall
from June 1st, 2021 up to and including July 1st, 2021 WITHOUT PENALTY.
PLEASE FURTHER NOTE that after July 1, 2021, a penalty of five percent (5%) per month will be imposed for the month of July and then a further one percent (1%) per month. Interest and penalties for delinquent taxes are mandatory under New York State REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW.
