Punjab is the only province that has exceeded the revenue collection beyond the set target: Buzdar
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Prime Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said Punjab had met its tax revenue target for the past fiscal year 2020-21.
In a statement, he said the Punjab Revenue Authority’s revenue will increase 24.7 percent and excise tax revenue will increase over 18 percent.
The prime minister said Punjab was the only province that exceeded the revenue collection beyond the set target.
The prime minister said the government had given business people special incentives to limit the economic impact of COVID-19.
He said the PTI government inherited a shattered economy in 2018 and worked around the clock to stabilize it.
