Putnam Master Intermediate Income Trust

Putnam estimates that $ 0.0162 per share of the Putnam Master Intermediate Income Trust’s dividend will be paid out of accumulated net investment income and that $ 0.0058 per share will be a principal return. These estimates and the sources of dividends and distributions for the Fund will be determined in accordance with the accounting standards applicable to the Fund. These principles may differ from those used to characterize distributions under federal tax law, and accordingly, treatment by federal tax law is likely to differ from the characterization estimated above. In addition, the sources of dividends are estimated at the time of declaration. Actual results will differ from these estimates. Any tax-free return on investment can only be determined after the end of the fund’s financial year. In January 2022 you will receive final information on the federal tax status of these and other distributions by the fund in the previous calendar year.

Putnam Premier Income Trust

Putnam estimates that $ 0.0120 per share of the Putnam Premier Income Trust dividend will be paid out of accumulated net investment income and that $ 0.0140 per share will represent a principal return.
